3303 33rd Ave NE, St. Anthony, Minnesota, United States
Palm Field, located in St. Anthony Village’s Central Park, was built in 2004. Named for former St. Anthony Village High School baseball coach and athletic director, Gary Palm, Palm Field is the product of school, city, and volunteer efforts. With fundraised dollars and charitable contributions, in 2004 and 2005 Palm Field saw the addition of concrete dugouts, a concession stand and press box, foul poles, batting cages, and a scoreboard. In 2010 and 2011, with the assistance of Hennepin County and the Minnesota Twins, lights, a grandstand, a rightfield “overlook” deck, and draintile were added to Palm Field. Palm Field plays host to VFW, high school, Legion, MIAC baseball, Class ‘A’ Amateur baseball, and Senior Men’s baseball each year. Palm Field is the 2011 Sports Turf Managers’ and High School Baseball Coaches’ Field of the Year.
